Hiking, biking, boating or mountain biking, anything is possible in this beautiful National Park. It is four natural areas in one.

A large marsh area with reed beds, rugged grasslands, ponds, surrounded by forests: a true bird paradise of international value. Those are the Oostvaardersplassen, part of National Park Nieuw Land.

In Natuurpark Lelystad (371 ha large) special animals live in a natural environment. You can come face to face with a European bison, wild boar, red deer, Przewalski horse or even a moose.

Marker Wadden is a major project that will provide nature restoration of the Markermeer. A natural paradise for fish and birds and a wonderful recreational island.
